1: Immidiate relief: rescue remedy, take in drops, spray or tablets.

2: Apply a drop of Valerian oil, just above the lip and breath in and out.
Or rub on hands, make cup of hands and inhale. Inhaling calming sense.

3: You can also combine Valerian oil and rescue remedy.

4: Walking and physical activities are grounding. Getting your mind of things.

5: Talk to a friend, family member, or someone you feel comfortable with.

All the remedies above are natural remedies.

David D. Burns recommends breathing exercises for those suffering from anxiety. One such breathing exercise is a 5-2-5 count. Using the stomach (or diaphragm) — and not the chest — you inhale (feel your stomach come out, as opposed to your chest expanding) for 5 seconds. As you reach the maximal point at inhalation, hold your breath for 2 seconds. Then slowly exhale, over 5 seconds. Repeat this cycle twice and then breathe 'normally' for 5 cycles (1 cycle = 1 inhale + 1 exhale). The point is to focus on the breathing and relax the heart rate. Regular diaphragmatic breathing may also be achieved by extending the out breath either by counting or even humming.

Diaphragmatic breathingabdominal breathingbelly breathing or deep breathing is breathing that is done by contracting the diaphragm, a muscle located horizontally between the chest cavity and stomach cavity. Air enters the lungs and the belly expands during this type of breathing.
This deep breathing is marked by expansion of the abdomen rather than the chest when breathing. It is considered by some to be a healthier way to breathe, and is considered by some a useful form of complementary and alternative treatment.
Diaphragmatic Breathing is also known scientifically as Eupnea, which is a natural and relaxed form of breathing in all mammals. Eupnea occurs in mammals whenever they are in a state of relaxation, ie when there is no clear and present danger in their environment.

LIVING MY LIFE PURPOSE

Does your work drain You.?
Is the NO 1 question asked when I tell people about my work. My answer is, no, it doesn't.

Being a channel for love and light is an endless receiving and giving, giving and receiving of healing energy. I am not the source of the energy but merely the channel or tool through which healing passes. I receive this energy by allowing the guidance of Angels and Ancestral Guides to work through me.

I love my work!!! I love every session, especially when the person coming for a session experience an instant positive result. Most people need to come for a few sessions. Every response is different, so are the sessions. It all depends of the reason for your visit. Being a channel for healing feels amazing! I thank the Universe every day for my gift and that I am able to use it in service to help and support people in their healing journey.

You don't need to be sick or sad to come for a session, you can also just come for a session to relax.

So to answer the question correctly:

Yes, when busy my feet get tired after standing all day. Like any other person I have to take good care of myself to stay fit, happy and healthy. What works for me is going regularly for walks in nature, eating organic foods as much as I can afford, being aware of what I put in my body, trying to get enough sleep, love going to the gym, or what I also love doing when possible doing sometimes absolutely nothing at all.

What keeps you happy and healthy??? Don't try to find time, make some time during the day or evening. You're worth it. Even 15 min a day can make a difference. Making time for your own feelings and thoughts.  Being happy and healthy is not a luxury, it's a necessity.

# PART 1- HEALTH and WELLBEING #

The month of May theme is all about your every day health and wellbeing, and what we can do ourselves to maintain a healthier lifestyle. Eating the right food, good sleep, exercising, walking, talking, etc.

Last month I, finally, stepped into the door of my local sport centre. I wished I had done it years ago!!! I have joined "the beginners class", as I like to call it myself :). After such a short time I already feel so much better and have less little aches. I mainly joined the gym to improve my posture. The staff is very welcoming and make you feel straight at home. Beside being friendly, they are all proffesional gym teachers/instructors. They take in account what your needs are and then help you find the right exercise plan. They also explain you what the right equipment is for you, and how to use it. I love that it's a community sport center and set up and available to all ages groups. With the great expertise and support of our gym teacher Mary, I already notice some physical changes, this only after 3 weeks! :) Thank You, Mary.
