EPEHUANO YARN SPIRITS

The Hummingbird is the 3rd messenger sent to the Water God by the healer to ask for good rainy weather.

The "eye of God" guides the healer in curing the sick. It also represents the 4 cardinal points.

The macuchi ( the green leaves on the right ) is an halucenagenic tabaco used by the healer to cure the sick.

The healer ( shaman ) blesses the corn so that the families who eat it will not get sick.

The deer is one of the chief offerings - sacrifices - made to the Gods.
