The zephyr of the soul is fast like a boundless glide. It is made out of all
possible emotions and twinkles with all the wonders to see. Never close your
eyes to your heart when you travel that road. Don’t even hold on to anything,
just feel the breeze caressing you. There is only one journey and that is to
follow the guidance from everyday life. See where the next bend leads you.
When anger, pain or fear come along, you will shrink again and could
encounter even tougher lessons. It may be that you still have not learned the
lessons of your previous life. When these emotions leave you, you will have
learned again. Next time, look for the gentler lessons of love. That road is so
much smoother and feels more rewarding.
All the monks have entered the pagoda and are sitting in a row on the
ground floor. Golden gongs are suspended beside them. Simultaneously, the
nuns have walked to the top floor to start their part of the morning global
ritual of letting go, when the collective shackles of the previous night are
released.
Some ‘passed-over’ sisters enter in flight. They are fifteen feet tall and
are wearing light-blue dresses and orange pointed hats. They are laughing
aloud. The lightness of white feathers dances around their faces, their eyes
still as beautiful as when they were alive. As swiftly as they enter, they leave
again, like jays on their way to warmer places.
