ATTITUDE OF GRATITUDE POEM

” The longer I live, the more I realize the impact of attitude on life.

Attitude, to me, is more important than facts.
It is more important than the past, than education, than money,
than circumstances, than failure, than successes,
than what other people think or say or do.

It is more important than appearance, giftedness, or skill.

It will make or break a company…a church…a home.
The remarkable thing is that we have a choice every day,
regarding the attitude we will embrace for that day.

We cannot change our past…
we cannot change the fact that people will act in a certain way.
We cannot change the inevitable.

The only thing we can do is play on the one string we have, and that is our attitude…
I am convinced that life is 10% what happens to me and 90% how I react on it.

And so it is with you…we are in charge of our Attitudes.”

I LOVE THIS POEM

LOVERS BLOOD MOON

Tonight is a night of union for the stars and of scattering, 
scattering, since a bride is coming from the skies, consisting of a full moon.
Venus cannot contain hereself for charming melodies, like the
nightingale which becomes intoxicated with the rose in spring-time.
See how the polestar is ogling Leo; 
behold what dust Pisces is stirring up from the deep!
Jupiter has galloped his steed against ancient Saturn, saying
"Take back your youth and go, bring good tidings!"
Mars' hand, which was full of blood from the handle of his
sword, has become as life-giving as the sun, the exalted in works.
Since Aquarius has come full of that water of life, the dry
cluster of Virgo is raining pearls from him.
The Pleiades full of goodness fears not Libra and being
broken; how should Aries flee away in fright from its mother?
When from the moon the arrow of a glance struck the heart
of Sagittarius, he took to night-faring in passion for her, like Scorpio.
On such a festival, go, sacrifice Taurus, else you are crooked of
gait in the mud like Cancer. 
This sky is the astrolabe, and the reality is Love; 
whatever wesay of this, attend to the meaning.
Shamsi-Tabriz, on that dawn when you shine, the dark night
is transformed to bright day by your moon like face.

There is some kiss we want
with our whole lives,
the touch of Spirit on the body.

Seawater begs the pearl
to break its shell.

And the lily, how passionately
it needs some wild Darling!

At night, I open the window
and ask the moon to come
and press its face into mine.
Breathe into me.

Close the language-door,
and open the love-window.

The moon won't use the door,
only the window.

LETTING GO OF NEGATIVE CONTROL

What is letting go?

Letting go is a release, a disentanglement of old residue, distancing yourself from negative patterns from your past! And so making space to welcome the new positive feelings and ways of thinking. This can make you grow further into the future and the life you are suppose to be living.

What is negative control?

Avoidance, constant restriction, frugality, keeping within boundaries, denying one self, fear, hindering your life. Prohibition of a wholeness feeling, holding on to negative emotions. Holding on to all your negativity in your life, keeping your self trapped in your mind and not allowing space for positive thoughts, changes or growth.

Anger is a not a strength but an expression of frustration.

TO LET GO TAKES LOVE

To "let go" does not mean to stop caring,
it means I can't do it for someone else.

To "let go" is not to cut myself off,
it's the realisation I can't control another.

To "let go" is not to enable,
but to allow learning from natural consequences.

To "let go" is to admit powerlessness,
which means the outcome is not in my hands.

To "let go" is not to try to change or blame another,
it's to make the most of myself.

To "let go" is not to care for,
but to care about.

To "let go" is not to fix,
but to be supportive.

To "let go" is not to judge,
but to allow another to be a human being.

To "let go" is not to be in the middle arranging the outcomes,
but to allow others to affect their own destinies.

To "let go" is not to be protective,
it's to permit another to face reality.

To "let go" is not to deny,
but to accept.

To "let go" it not to nag, scold or argue,
but instead to search out my own shortcomings, and correct them.

To "let go" is not to adjust everything to my desires
but to take each day as it comes,
and cherish myself in it.

To "let go" is not to criticise and regulate anybody
but to try to become what I dream I can be.

To "let go" is not to regret the past,
but to grow and live for the future.

To "let go" is to fear less,
and love more.

RUMI POEM # ON THE DAY I DIE #

I’m standing in a kind of church, there are many people around. Suddenly two Amazonian rain forest women are standing in front of me. Their bodies are painted white. Their faces are also painted white in the tradition of Las Dias De Las Muertos (Day of the Dead), but decorated with colourful flowers petals. Whilst they’re smiling so gently to me with their peaceful eyes, I recognise them as Ma and Johanna. After I've recognised them they run away hand in hand. Nobody else saw them, nor did they show themselves to anyone else. I wasn't to sad as their hello and goodbye had filled me with a warm and loving feeling. They'd shown me that they were together again and free of pain…

I dreamed this 6 nights before my sister Johanna past away. I was with her when she did.
I felt our mother the night before my sister died in the hospital room, 
letting me know that she came to collect her soon.

The human seed goes down in the ground

like a bucket into the well where Joseph is.
