It's anyway better to buy locally but at difficult times like this it's even better to support your local shops & small business owners. At the moment most of them are struggling to get by. For instance your health food shop, butcher, fishmonger, grocery shop, nut shop, liqueur store, hardware, pet shop, spiritual shop, the bakery, etc, etc, etc. Call upon the local painter, the carpenter, the chimney sweeper, the shoemaker, I don't know. Whichever one you need. Have a think about it.
At the moment a lot of local restaurants and pubs are open to take orders online or have takeaways.
